AQR expands global engagement with key international initiatives
The International Affairs Office of Astan Qods Razavi announced new integrated programs designed to strengthen its cultural and diplomatic presence worldwide.

According to Hoj. Mostafa Faqih Esfandiari, the deputy for international affairs at Astan Qods Razavi, a series of major initiatives are being launched to enhance the institution's global presence. These efforts include the development of an integrated international system, a strategic international document, Razavi diplomacy programs, elite-focused diplomatic initiatives, international facilitation projects, and the establishment of the Secretariat for International Pilgrimage.
“These efforts are an effective foundation for reinforcing cultural and intellectual ties across the Islamic world. The mission and current activities of the International Affairs Office call for structured planning and long-term strategies in international work”, he described.
The remarks were delivered during a joint meeting hosted by Astan Qods Razavi’s International Affairs Office with Seyyed Mehdi Mostafavi, the deputy head of communications and international affairs at the Office of the Leader. The session focused on cultural diplomacy and the expansion of international cooperation.
Mostafavi welcomed the progress made in AQR’s international activities. He stressed the importance of adopting a strategic and civilizational perspective in the global work of institutions such as Astan Qods Razavi, given its unique cultural and spiritual standing.
“Astan Qods Razavi can play a decisive role in advancing the soft power of the Islamic Republic and in promoting Razavi cultural diplomacy on the international stage”, he said.
In his concluding statements, Mostafavi warned against neglecting the internationalization of the country's cultural sector. “Failure to integrate global engagement into cultural and communication planning at this critical juncture would be a significant mistake,” he cautioned.
